General objective: Analyze the possibilities for improvement and development of water structures in the Moroto district, with particular attention to rainwater collecting basins, rocks, underground dams and trapezoidal bunds.

Results

- feasibility at district and sub-county levels performed;

- 3 demonstration sites (an underground dam, a rainwater collection basin and 6 structures called "trapezoidal bunds") completed and functioning.

Direct beneficiaries: 4.000 inhabitants of the demonstration sites
