August 2009
- All 144 returnees arrived on August 28, 2009 were received in a safe and dignified manner and were helped to return to their homes and to be reintegrated into their home communities.
- The returnees were assisted in their basic needs, in particular for their reunification and reintegration into the communities of origin, the right to education and access to food.
- The returnees are temporarily entrusted to the Missionaries of Charity of Moroto.
- The returnees are temporarily entrusted with the Catholic mission of Father J. Bosco to Iriiri.
- Operative database of returnees welcomed.
October 2009
- All 182 Karimojong (63 women and 119 children) arrived on October 29th were welcomed in the Nadunget secondary school (transit site) received in a safe and dignified manner and were helped to return to their homes and to be reintegrated into Their communities of origin.
- Operative database of returnees welcomed.
- In the same days micro-project of food distribution funded by the Italian Embassy (follows project details).
Direct beneficiaries 326 women and children.

LOKOPO - RIENTRO MASSICCIO OF CHILDREN AND WOMEN OF VULNERABLES FROM KAMPALA TO THE MOROTO DISTRICT - project card -
The project aims to reunite women and children from Kampala suburbs to their communities of origin or alternative communities in Karamoja, following a ministerial directive of May 2008 to remedy the difficult situation of street children.
Unicef requested the help of "C & S", in view of the previous collaboration in 2007, in a similar project involving the return of 674 women and children in Karamoja, the emergence of a development project for 160 women vulnerable in Agriculture and poultry farming.

Results
• 597 women and children are welcomed and dignified at the Lokopo Mall and reintegrated into the communities of origin
• 597 women and children and communities of origin supported through long-term monitoring, post-resettlement and community initiatives
• Strengthened the capacity of local NGOs and grass-roots communities through training, technical support that led to a family- and community-based inquiry, service delivery, quality service provision, periodic monitoring and updating on women And children come back
• Created and updated archive of "returnees", with details of child protection issues and provision of child protection services.
• Increased provision of services for a child protection response.
Beneficiaries: 597 women and children.

Results achieved:
First reception at Kobulin:
• selected 16 social workers with the task of assisting in the reception and registration of women and children
• 2 nurses of the Lorengechora dispensary
• Rehabilitation of 3 wells and installation of a 5,000-liter tank each 3-4 days for adequate reception of returnees from Kampala
• set up 3 curtains of 72 square meters near the reception center
• prepare 10 mobile toilets
• stocked first-time goods to be distributed to every returnee
• provided food
At the end of the first reception at Lomaratoit:
• set up 3 tents near Lomaratoit
• set the road to Lomaratoit
• provided a 5,000-liter tank in the new site and refueled every 3 days at Lomaratoit
• guaranteed security and basic health services
• provided food
• distributed to every family present at Lomaratoit seeds and agricultural tools during the last week of April
• 214 schoolchildren enrolled in 12 different schools (8 in the Moroto District, 1 in the Kaabong District, 1 in Kotido and 2 in Namalu)
• provided transportation to children in their respective schools
Training:
• Forms 16 social workers with the task of assisting in the reception and registration of women and children
Beneficiaries: 674 people.
